Durham have run through Warwickshire
with the new ball as the hosts lost their last seven wickets for 42 runs.
The slump began when Rob Yates was
out for 102 to the old ball in the 74th over - but when Chris Rushworth had the
new cherry in his hand 13 overs later the collapse began.
He had Will Rhodes caught at square
leg by Michael Jones for 39 and then nobody else reached double figures, other
than Danny Briggs, who was on 11 when he fell to a cracking piece of reflex
fielding, caught and bowled by Ben Stokes.
For most of the day it looked like
nothing was happening for the bowlers. but equally Warwickshire weren't running
away from a runs point of view either. Durham have seven overs to see out
tonight in gloomy conditions.
