'We will be vindicated' - Anas wins $18m defamation case

A US court has awarded Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas $18m (£14m) in damages after he was defamed by former MP Kennedy Agyapong.

The case stemmed from Agyapong's false accusations on a podcast, calling Anas a "criminal" following his 2018 BBC investigation into football corruption.

Anas, who previously lost a similar case in Ghana, spoke about what this win means for him.
