Narrowboats take on 24 hour Birmingham Canal Navigations challenge

Teams of narrowboats are taking on the Birmingham Canal Navigations in a 24 hour challenge.

It will see them traverse different routes in and around the West Midlands to help raise awareness of the lesser-used areas of the canal network.

Organisers hope it will help keep the canal network thriving.
